The Boeing Company is currently seeking Scaled Agile Scrum Master (SM) to join the Mission Systems Software Engineering team located in Tukwila, WA that develops next generation Open Mission Software (OMS) Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) Software primarily for USAF E-7A, but also supporting other Airborne Surveillance, Command and Control (ASC2) programs like E-3 AWACS, 767 AWACS, and other 737 Airborne Early Warning & Control Aircraft. These aircraft represent the world’s standard for airborne early warning and control systems, filling the need for both command and control functions for tactical and air defense forces.

The BMC2 team develops mission software to integrate sensors, communication systems, self-protect suites, weapon systems, data links, other battle management, and crew user interfaces for the ASC2 systems. Responsible for engaging customers through cutting-edge visual modeling and simulation; innovating cross-cutting concepts and technologies; prototyping solutions to extend current products and win new programs, developed using the Agile software process.

As a Scaled Agile Scrum Master (SM) you will work with a team in a casual but professional environment where there is long-term potential for career growth into management or technical leadership positions. The optimal candidate works well with a team, has great communication skills, and is a self-starter.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
Leads projects and provides oversight (including performance management metrics & ing) in support of organizational goals and objectives.

Implements projects using various project management methods such as Waterfall, Lean +, and Scrum.

Leads Lean + Workshops and RCCA activities.

Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.

Manages changes to baseline statement of work and schedules through the change management process.

Utilize communication skills to develop executive level presentations and present project status at a Leadership Team level.

Engage supplier project managers when necessary for program status, schedule, risks, opportunities, change management and issue resolution.

Finish with project close-outs archiving documented lessons learned, present project close-out and deploy the BPSM for RCCA as required.

Uses team-building and negotiation skills to support delivery of completed features from product backlog to Customer Support businesses.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years’ experience developing and implementing process improvements.

3+ years’ experience leading teams or projects to successful completion.

3+ years’ experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders.

3+ years’ experience managing projects & using standard project management tools (ex. Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, PowerPoint, SharePoint, status charts, etc.)

Experience facilitating meetings & presenting to senior leaders.

Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.

3+ years’ experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools.

2+ years of experience with executive level communication including presentation development and outs.

2+ years of experience developing and maintaining user-level communications and technology (ex: SharePoint)

2+ years of experience/demonstrated application of Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP).

2+ years of experience managing agile software development projects.

1+ years of experience using Agile software development management tools (Team Foundation Server, VersionOne, JIRA)

2+ years of experience utilizing scheduling tools (MS Project, Milestones, etc.)

1+ years of experience leading large scale, cross functional projects.

Certificate in project management or PMP certification.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary pay range: $62,050.00 – $83,950.00
