Software Prototyper/Embedded Developer
As part of the User-centered Software team within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Software Engineering organization you will be supporting and leading the prototyping and development of engineering analysis and support tools as well as crew interface solutions for current and future flight decks and operator stations.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with users and members of the business support/requirements management team to understand software requirements.
Develop software architectures and perform trade-off analysis of alternatives.
Prototype software solutions using a wide range of technologies.
Develop approaches for software development and certification with minimum time-to-market.
Lead the deployment of model-based methods and tools for software development, verification and certification.
Perform and lead other team members in the development, deployment and certification of medium- to large-size software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Experience working in a Scaled Agile Environment.
Experience with model-based software development and verification methods and tools.
Knowledge of and experience in aerospace embedded software development, incl. DO-178B/C.
Effectively working in distributed teams from across locations world-wide.
Required Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
Formal education and track record in computer science, software engineering or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in the development of embedded software.
Fluent in English.
