Job Description
The Software Engineering Talent Acquisition Leader will lead talent attraction and recruiting for Boeing’s global Software Engineering function. In this position the successful candidate will build and develop a team of highly skilled recruiters, create an organizational model that enables alignment and continuity with our Software Engineering leaders, will drive recruiting team performance and deliver the best talent to the company.
Partnering closely with other Senior Talent Acquisition Managers and Executives, Total Rewards, Human Resources, People Analytics, Recruitment Advertising and Communications, will be vital to build the right infrastructure to support our Software Engineering Recruiters. Exceptional leadership skills and a passion for driving innovation to find the best talent in the market will be necessary for success. The experience of candidates, hiring leaders and recruiters is always top of mind, together with the need for pipelines of diverse candidates.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead a team of global, geographically dispersed, full lifecycle Software Engineering recruiters
Effectively deploy team resources, provide direction and set goals to help the team achieve successful hiring outcomes
Develop and implement innovative and proactive talent acquisition plans and strategies
Lead, manage and coach recruiting team members and drive exceptional team performance
Create and maintain pipelines of software engineering candidates that are rich in diversity
Create a culture of listening, speaking up and providing feedback across the team
Utilize data to effectively manage team priorities, create hiring strategies and direct investments
Partner with key stakeholders to pro-actively understand workforce planning and forecasting activities
Establish positive relationships across the business, providing strategic guidance and making recommendations to leaders to enhance the acquisition of talent.
Provide special care to candidate flow and the health of candidate pipelines
Seek continuous improvement to candidate, hiring leader and recruiter experiences as well as the hiring process and the way we work
Model the Boeing Values; promote diversity and inclusion and ensure all team members feel engaged, motivated, developed and recognized.
Set high expectations for team performance and ensure outstanding candidate and customer experience
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to occasionally visit one or more of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in a formal people leadership role with responsibility for the talent acquisition practices of attracting, engaging and hiring Software Engineers
10+ years of successful recruiting experience
5+ years in a people leadership and management role
Extensive experience working in talent acquisition in US and multinational companies
Experience partnering with executives and hiring leaders with an emphasis on service delivery and building a true business partnership
Strong data analysis skills, able to interpret and leverage multiple data sources and effectively communicate relevant information to partners
Exceptional influencing skills and ability to guide decisions
Capability to solve complex problems, design creative hiring strategies and drive significant value into the organization.
Deep knowledge of industry best practices, key performance indicators and a track record of achieving team hiring goals
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Demonstration of business acumen
Coaching skills necessary to help team members develop their capabilities and reach their full potential
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and able to quickly shift focus on changing business needs
Detail oriented with the ability to simplify and frame information with the bigger picture in mind
Exceptional communication skills in setting clear priorities and direction for your team
Experience managing projects/ programs from beginning to end, planning and execution
Experience working and excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic and growth focused environment
Experience with Workday
