BOEING Hiring for Senior Software Engineer Job at Adelaide Full Time

The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior software developer with user-centric design experience to join our team in Software Displays. We are strengthening our software displays team with individuals who are passionate about writing great code, understand the principles behind user-centric design, and can be influential and advocate design processes in our programs.

Responsibilities

• We are hiring for many programs, from research and development projects through to advancements on very mature programs.
• Your role will be varied, requiring experience on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• You will be an advocate for incorporating user centric design processes into current programs.

Experience/Qualifications

• Enjoy programming and are proficient in one of these languages: C, C++, Java, Javascript, Python.
• Your speciality/interest is in user centric design, and front end system development.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• You have a can-do attitude, and initiative to propose better ways to solve problems and improve processes.
• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently.
• Openness to feedback, and collaboration.
• Passionate about writing good, clean code.
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle, and different development methodologies.
• Experience with task tracking tools, configuration management, and working in a team environment.
• Due to the sensitivity of our projects in defence, you must be an Australian Citizen.
