The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition Australian and New Zealand. This opportunity is based in Brisbane and will lead a team of experienced talent acquisition professionals locally and interstate, delivering recruiting services for Boeing Australia subsidiaries and managing relationships with key business stakeholders across Australia and our international regions.

The opportunity

This key leadership role is responsible for understanding business recruitment needs, shaping strategy and ensuring delivery of the Talent Acquisition function to support business growth. You will identify, promote and drive engagement across the Boeing enterprise and in all business interactions.

In executing this role, you will

Collaborate with Human Resources teams and other Business Partners to develop strategic workforce plans and forecasts, talent acquisition strategies as well as providing metrics and reporting updates. You will develop and deliver project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set performance goals.

Position responsibilities

• Reports to Global Talent Acquisition Delivery Director, representing Australia Talent Acquisition in cross functional projects, meetings, events and forms part of the Australian HR Leadership Team
• Accountable for building, engaging, coaching and developing a high performing team
• Understand business needs, shape strategy and ensuring delivery of recruitment strategies to support business growth
• Partner with Boeing leaders ensuring business demands are prioritized and commitments are met
• As a member of the International Talent Acquisition leadership team, partner with peers and leaders across the globe
• Requires work outside of local business hours to collaborate with teams across our global organization

You will need to have

• 10 -15 years’ experience with at least 5 years within management, leading a geographically dispersed team and stakeholder group
• Bachelor’s degree and or professional certifications in HR with significant demonstrated work experience in Talent Acquisition is preferred
• Passionate and empathetic people leadership skills with experienced in leading and managing high performing teams
• Knowledge of Talent Acquisition and recruitment best practices
• Experience in managing change programs and leading a team through change
• A clear understanding of service delivery and using metrics to measure and manage performance to ensure high quality delivery on time and within budget
• International experience working ideally in a US lead or multi-national organization is desirable
• Prior knowledge and experience of the Workday platform would be beneficial
