Responsibilities:
To deliver HR Services and first level HR support to employees, managers, and the HR community.
HR Services Specialists serve as the initial point of contact for our employees, interacting with them on a daily basis assisting with a multitude of general HR needs and helping with a standard set of HR service offerings. This position also supports the broader HR community and leaders with transactional and administrative activities. This position requires a professional demeanor, exceptional customer service, a sense of urgency; the ability to organize and prioritize.
The team is currently undergoing significant transformation to move, streamline, simplify, and automate a variety of services and processes to ensure a consistent employee experience.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Working with the team lead on a successful alignment and various process improvement projects
Be accountable and provide ownership for key projects relating to all HRS activities and systems
Suggest and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices – be a Subject Matter expert for all operational aspects HR processes
Be a source of expert advice on Workday, case management, ticketing the HR Portal and all associated tools
Training current team on new processes to ensure we have backup team members
Responding to general HR employee questions and providing policy and procedure guidance
Serving as an employee advocate to identify resources for resolution of issues and concerns.
Work with the HR Services manager to provide guidance and expertise to the delivery of HR-related services.
Managing projects and process improvements within the team including developing solutions and defining deliverables, required schedules, necessary tasks, and providing status updates
Creating reports and metrics, analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of systems and sources to support compliance, and HR data trending
Liaise effectively with all areas of the HR function – be a key bridge of effective interaction and connectivity
Perform transactions using HR technologies (e.g., Workday, case management, SharePoints)
Audit supplier compliance to performance standards and report out on status.
Preferred qualifications:
HR service delivery
Project management
Experience using workday and Service Now
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple concurrent activities
Flexible and ability to work under pressure to meet the project needs/deadlines
