BOEING Hiring for Procurement Agent at Mesa, AZ Full Time

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking for an Entry-Level Procurement Agent to join the Supply Chain team in Mesa, AZ. This position will manage the total procurement lifecycle for aftermarket repairs in support of Vertical Lift Sustainment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of stand-alone repair orders.
• Works with internal and external customers to formalize procurement requirements.
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates across functions and programs to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunities.
• Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Mesa, AZ. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing practices and processes in a dynamic environment.
• Able to work in a collaborative environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer is highly desired.
• Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts in support of US Government requirements is desired.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
