The Engineering Technical Specialists role will support the Boeing Global Services Engineering Organization in the People & Talent team. The BGS side of the company is unique because we provide services for both Defense and Commercial sides of the business but also provide solutions to customers that don’t purchase Boeing products. This role will allow you to get visibility on an array of engineering challenges with staffing and retention along with understanding the different careers that exist in our company. Position Responsibilities:
Executing project deliverables related to the People & Talent team.
Demonstrates proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry.
Contribute to a steering team to improve processes and business practices that support all stakeholders.
Support and lead staffing and retention programs/initiatives for BGS Engineering.
Analysis and validation of engineering staffing demand with Adaptive Planning.
Provide support of documentation and implementation for the use of tools, processes and standards.
Facilitate team and program meetings.
Effectively communicate to various core groups in order to manage and improve the program outcomes.
Ability to lead workshops and present to large groups in a positive manner that clearly addresses objectives and requirements to build an atmosphere of learning and open engagement.
Provide logistical support for retention and career development programs.
Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.
Conduct employee surveys, analyze data and present program proposals to leadership.
This role requires a passion for employee development and growth.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6+ years of experience in leading successful cross-functional, Business Units or program teams.
6+ years of experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects.
6+ years of experience in communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong organizational skills.
Experience working with Systems Thinking.
Experience in a role that requires strong decision making skills.
Experience with Portfolio/Project Management.
Experience in Tableau Databases or Web Layout requirements definition.
Experience in a role that requires strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with staffing forecast tools such as Adaptive Planning.
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
