The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Integration and Verification Engineer to work as part of the team to support the development, integration and testing of the next generation Communications Systems and the continued evolution of those capabilities. As an Integration and Verification engineer you will apply your experience to a broad range of activities being undertaken to enhance the Currawong System. The role is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and verification of test methods.
• Assist in the development of detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
• Design test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements.
• Assist in the coordination of the manufacture and assembly of the test hardware and validate conformance to design specifications.
• Perform tests in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies – with the capability to troubleshoot and address anomalies and collect data for processing as required.
• Assist in the integration of test specific hardware and validate conformance to test specifications.
• Participate in test readiness reviews, safety reviews and data/control systems checkout to minimize risks.
• Analyze, process, and format data to customer requirements.
• Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity.
• Prepare and publish test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
• Experience working as part of a team to conduct a test, compilation of test sequence, monitor progress of the test, and record test activities.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management
• Experience developing and executing against key Project Engineering and Systems Engineering artefacts
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Success in working with a multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative solutions
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies highly regarded
• Experience with Defence projects highly regarded
