We are currently seeking to recruit a HR Coordinator/Adviser for a maximum term contract until mid December 2023 –in our Port Melbourne office supporting Boeing Aerostructures Australia.

Boeing Aerostructures Australia is the largest manufacturer of Aircraft components in Australia and part of the Boeing International Supply Chain. We work closely with our colleagues in international locations to deliver integrated Human Resources support aligned to our Enterprise service model.

Our Team of HR Business Partners and Generalists work closely with business leaders and employees to provide advice and support, ensuring the delivery of HR solutions that meet the goals and objectives of our Boeing business.

This role is ideal for a student interested in working part time hours (approx. 20 hours) while studying and flexing up to 38 hours in uni-holidays and/or post-graduation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports delivery of employment lifecycle events for employees
• Supports the implementation of business’ priorities and people solutions
• Employee facing deployment of HR processes and people solutions
• Proactively collaborates with HR Service areas and HR Business Partners/Generalists

What will you learn:

• This role is ideal for a student studying HR/IR
  
• You will build experience in the employment life cycle and key HRM practices by undertaking tasks around hiring, promotion/changes in employment, performance, compensation & benefits and leave
• You will learn about the development of HR solutions and project execution by supporting the implementation of people related projects and change management activities
• You will support HR professionals who engage in employee and management conversations that impact the employee experience, team productivity and effectiveness and organizational culture
• You will solidify your understanding of employment law and employee/ industrial relations, in an organization with union stakeholders, implementing a newly negotiated enterprise agreement
• You will be exposed to diversity, equity and inclusion, recruitment and onboarding practices- joining a global brand based in Melbourne who is currently focused on making step change progress in its attraction, retention, talent management and business culture.

• Experience working with diverse groups of people is preferred
• Currently undertaking, studies in a relevant HR qualification
