The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Graduate Software Engineer to join Boeing Defence Australia (BDA). As a Graduate Software Engineer you will be part of the division supporting the Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) capabilities and specifically, projects within the Ground Systems, based in Williamtown, NSW.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of software with a focus on cyber security
• Contribute to the design, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.
• An interest or any relevant experience in one or more of the following is desirable:

• Developing software in C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework
• GUI development particularly in WPF
• Working with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
• XML and JSON-related technologies

Experience/Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience in an electronic discipline.
• Ability to apply technical principles, theories and concepts towards solving complex problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
