BOEING Hiring for Financial Analyst Job at Brisbane Full Time

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting Financial Analysts to support our cutting edge Airpower Teaming System (ATS) project. We are looking for “can-do” self-starters, who enjoy working in a diverse team exploring new technology.

Boeing is taking another bold step in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. ATS is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. This unmanned teaming aircraft is Boeing’s first military aircraft to be designed and developed outside the U.S and uses artificial intelligence to extend the capabilities of manned and unmanned platforms. This cutting edge project is aiming to unlock global defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements for both internal and external stakeholders across multiple funding streams – internal and external, local and international
• Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
• Perform variance analysis and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to multiple stakeholders
• Contribute as part of the Business Planning and Analysis team to managing cost and schedule performance
• Work with multiple stakeholders including BDA, Boeing Aerostructures Australia and The Boeing Company

Experience/Qualifications

• Relevant Business degree is desirable
• Proven ability to deliver, on-time and within budget
• Project accounting or Cost Analyst (incl. earned value management reporting) experience and a sound understanding of project management principles planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost accounting and reporting
• Competent user with advanced Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications. Ideally have experience in project management software such as ERP and Cobra
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
