We are currently seeking Associate Level Software Engineers to become part of the F-15 Training Systems team in Saint Louis, Missouri. These simulations support the deployment and training of next generation avionics and sensor systems for F-15 fighter aircraft. The successful candidate will implement and test new cutting-edge capabilities and integrate them with a variety of other aircraft subsystems.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate software into real-time embedded system
Define and execute test procedures to validate software requirements achieved
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
Support software research and development projects
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Knowledge and experience with software development and software testing practices
Bachelor of science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or chemistry or other technical degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Classroom or work related programming experience with any of the following software development languages: Ada, C, C++, C#, JAVA, and Python
Experience with requirements, design, development, and test of software systems products
Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
RELOCATION:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option. (St. Louis, MO)
