Early Careers Talent Acquisition Advisor

Introduction:

The Boeing Company is currently hiring an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Advisor in the UK. Please note this is a fixed term role for 12 months, Maternity Leave cover.

The role allows successful candidate a flexible work approach, virtual home office plus site visits (as per business needs), with base location being Bristol, Crawley or Sheffield, UK.

Boeing’s operations within the UK are rapidly growing and we are delivering a number of key programmes of work. As part of this growth our Early Careers Programmes have excelled and we are continuously seeking high potential talent to join our business. The Early Careers Talent Acquisition Advisor works closely with the UK Early Careers Programme Lead & UK Apprentice Programmes Lead as well as with the relevant business stakeholders to agree and deliver requirements.

There is the opportunity to work as part of the Global University Recruiting team, as well as with the UK Talent Acquisition team and HR to align the UK approach to the broader business and HR function.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake meetings for Early Careers requirements, partnering with the managers to understand the business and determine the best TA solution
• Research markets and proactively source to generate diverse pools of applicants
• Promote social media content across all available channels
• Own the candidate experience, maintain engagement throughout the hiring process and beyond
• Support managers to assess and select candidates for each role, carry out applicant down select, telephone screening, interview co-ordination and testing
• Lead the offer process, engaging with all parties to deliver best offer first time
• See the value in every person, diversity & inclusion at the heart of what you do
• Occasionally work out of hours to engage with globally based colleagues and candidates where applicable
• 
  Please note that the position will require occasional travel to accommodate business needs, job fairs and other related events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering full life cycle recruitment for UK based roles (ideally within Early Careers area)
• Understands the importance of, embraces and exceeds performance targets
• Inquisitive with a proactive approach to problem solving
• ‘Always people first’; focus on candidate experience and delivering an outstanding service
• Understands the value of data to inform decision making
• Solid communicator
• Able to work in a matrix environment, using collaborative relationships to achieve goals
• Eye for business and commercial awareness
• Digital literacy, values technology
• Experience using Workday would be an advantage but is not essential

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Work Authorization:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
