Bodied by the NP Hiring for Medical Assistant at Fort Lauderdale, FL Full Time

The Medical Assistant must be pleasant, upbeat, positive, reliable, shares our companies’ values and has great work ethics.

Tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

Assist the Nurse Practitioner with rooming the patient and getting them ready for their consultation and/or procedure

Answering the telephone, take messages, and following up on inquiries.

Schedules, and confirm appointments for patients.

Contributes to team effort when required.

Handles outgoing mails; sorts and distributes incoming mails.

Drafts, reviews, and proofreads office documents. Responsible for basic data entry as assigned.

Maintains and stocks basic office supplies.

Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers, copiers, and fax.

Ensures compliance with company rules and regulations in the reception area.

Handling payments for all services and making sure at the end of the day to close out.

Maintains cleanliness of the reception, and treatment area.

Proficient with Microsoft office and Google Docs.

Taking Vital Signs.

Giving injections, starting IVs.

Doing Body Sculpting on the patient.

Registered/Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Friendly and Professional

Medical Assistant Experience (Preferred but nor required)

Make follow-up calls to patients

Making cold calls to leads

Keeping office tidy

Key holder

Ability to use fax, copier, scanner and email

Social Media posts creation, planning, and publishing

Knowledge of Medical spa terminology (Preferred not required)

Using office equipment to record videos, take pictures and to publish posts, stories, reels and others

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $15.50 per hour
