About the role
Reporting to the HR Director, you will work in partnership with three Business Directors and their teams; namely Commercial (Sales), Product & Marketing and Remarketing.
Importantly, you will be joining at an interesting time. With some recent Director changes and an exciting long-term strategic vision: Arval Beyond, these teams have lots to achieve.
The work will be plentiful and varied. From championing the implementation of the People strategy and helping facilitate the delivery of HR plans, to managing headcount budgets and owning escalated complex Employee Relations cases, you will quickly become a vital part of your business areas. In addition, you will be the People Pillar lead within our CSR strategy and HR lead for Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion. Plus, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on companywide people initiatives.

This role is eligible for Hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week).
Salary range: £50-60,000 plus £8,100 bonus, Car/cash allowance (£458pcm) & superb benefits
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner. Someone considered ‘a safe pairs of hands’. Experience in a strict Governance environment within a matrix organisation would really help prepare you for joining us. A background in Financial/ Regulated sectors would be the icing on the cake.
Ideally CIPD qualified, you will be highly competent supporting business areas and providing the professional and technical HR advice as there will be a real mix of strategic work and HR generalist work involved. Knowledge of Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion best practices will be advantageous.
Key to your success, will be your ability to establish yourself as a trusted partner. Getting to grips with the nuts and bolts of each area is important. However, it’s the people that matter. As with any business, our leaders require bespoke levels of support and guidance. You’ll quickly understand what level of service they each want and need. There is a difference!
Character wise, you will need to be friendly and open whilst knowing when to be firm and assertive; able to quickly understand the differences in people and business areas and so flex your offering accordingly. The business will need you to have a solution focused mind-set in addition to your excellent communication and influencing skills.

This is a Pay Zone B3 role with a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000, an annual bonus of up to £8,100 and the choice of a fully maintained Company Car (or annual cash allowance of £458pcm).
