-We are looking for a talented and optimistic HVAC designer/Mechanical Designer/Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Workgroup
-As a knowledgeable mechanical designer, you know that mechanical designers are responsible for producing the engineering designs to solve a problem or meet a need, and then communicating the design so that a contractor can build it

The day-to-day:
-Perform most of the basic engineering tasks as necessary for each project including zoning, equipment layout and coordination, heating/cooling load calculations, coordination with other team(s), etc…
-During the design phase, you will prepare Design Development Drawings and Construction Documents in collaboration with other squad members, and senior team members as needed while apply relevant code knowledge to your system design and layout
-During the agency approval phase, you will coordinate corrections to your plans/designs with the AHJ and other team members as needed in order to support project permitting
-During the construction phase, you will provide Construction Administration services to aid in the execution of our design

Qualifications:
-3-5 years (or more!) of HVAC systems design experience and industry knowledge is required
-Stong working knowledge of AutoCad and drafting skills required
-BSME degree, Technical Degree, or other industry specific work experience which demonstrates high levels of technical capability
-PE preferred but not required. Also advantageous to have a current EIT in advance of PE.
-Working knowledge of current codes/standards for building projects within the State of California including: California Mechanical Code, CALGreen Code, California Energy Code.
-Training in BIM preferred but not required; Revit MEP strongly preferred
-Ability to work with different personalities and with varying levels of professional experience.
-Strong organizational skills
-Excellent time management and project prioritization.
-Experience in vendor provided selection programs preferred; (eg: Greenheck CAPS, Daikin Tools, Price All-in-One, etc…)
-Software skills: AutoCAD, Word, Excel, MSOffice365
