This is a permanent, full time, union position.
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining customer accounts
Handling of all customer inquiries concerning their accounts
Responsible for responding to all customer service correspondence
Occasional review of customer billing
Assist with other Customer Service and Billing Department positions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Secondary diploma in Business Administration or in a related discipline from an accredited educational institution
Effective interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong mediation and negotiation skills
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Capacity to make decisions and give direction to customers
Experience in customer service and/or call center, considered an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with SAP, considered an asset.
3 to 5 years of utility experience is an asset
