We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Treasury to be located in Stamford, CT and report to the Vice President & Corporate Controller.
The primary responsibilities will include:
Monitor and manage the cash function in the US and Canada to drive optimal funding and investment decisions, including wires and account funding
Responsible for rolling 13-week cash flow forecast; Daily cash reporting updates
Develop and manage short-term investment strategies for excess cash
Develop and maintain strong banking party relationships to ensure delivery of appropriate and cost-effective banking services and support
Coordinate with the Accounting department and Business Units to ensure proper reporting of cash balances and Treasury related transactions
Monitor best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best in class Treasury services.
Administer debt capital markets activities, leveraging facilities to provide liquidity, and ensuring on-time principal and interest payments. Support loan covenant and debt compliance reporting.
Manage the letters of credit and bank guarantees process
Evaluate and execute strategies to mitigate foreign currency risk (related to large CAPEX purchases)
Administers the company’s Merchant Services programs
Provide advisory to cross-functional business partners on Treasury related projects
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with vendors, customer finance teams, shared services teams, accounting and corporate finance teams
Ensure all Treasury activities are in compliance with accounting guidelines, regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls
Play an active role in talent development, providing ongoing coaching and feedback (both performance and development) to direct report.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
8 years of business experience in treasury, corporate finance, accounting or related area
Knowledge of banking products, capital markets and cash management procedures
Preferred qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a CPG corporate with treasury and/or general corporate finance activities
CTP, CFA or MBA a plus
Strong knowledge of payment systems, ACH, and online banking products. Technologically inclined with extensive experience with core banking systems and related products, awareness of digital trends, and bank industry technology.
Capital markets experiences, including debt issuance, credit facilities, lines of credit, short-term investments and bank relationship management
Demonstrated experienced with FX risk and FX execution
Advanced Microsoft Office suite capabilities
3+ years of people management experience
Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods industry
Skills:
Strong organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
Self-motivated and able to deliver results with minimal supervision, while also working effectively as part of a team
Highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Forward-thinking, proactive and committed to continuous process improvement, and maintaining knowledge of developments in the treasury, banking, compliance and risk environments
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, processes and people
