Terms

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Times: Nominally 9:00 – 5:30 – 1 hour unpaid for lunch

Salary: From £25,000.00 – £50,000.00, dependent on experience

Accountable To: Managing Director

Reporting To: Software Development Team Leader

Travel: Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed

Location: Unit A5, Endeavour Business Park, Penner Road, Havant, PO9 1QN

Annual Leave: 20 days excluding public holidays (plus 1 extra day for each year worked up to a maximum of 25 days)

Technical Duties

• Develop & maintain an understanding of Blueteq core systems & business practices
• Code using the current version of Visual Studio and other tools
• Create/Edit/Script MS SQL Server databases using SQL Management Studio
• Design, develop and maintain web forms using ASP.NET & .NET CORE frameworks
• Provide support to client systems via the ticket support system
• Contribute constructive ideas to new and existing projects as required
• Contribute ideas, suggestions, and thoughts to improve the efficiency, performance, and reliability of existing & new systems
• Occasional answering the telephone/message taking
• Occasional contact with clients including on-line and face to face meetings
• Documentation of any aspect of your work or code
• Systems analysis & problem solving.

Skills Required

Technical – relating to the above duties you will need to have a detailed knowledge of:

• ASP.NET, .NET Core, Javascript, Ajax, VB.NET, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, HTML, CSS
• Carry out detailed testing during the development cycle

Communication – this is key for us:

• Work to specific objectives set at review meetings (1 month & 3 month reviews)
