We are now seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our hourly hiring efforts!

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in attracting exceptional hourly talent to our cafes and coffee shops. This person will contribute to building a pipeline of talent, assist in managing the applicant tracking system, support with in house and external hiring events, develop relationships with hiring partners, and support the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with administrative duties as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: (80%)

• Post open roles on the ATS, external job boards, and social media platforms
• Collaborate with hiring managers to set up in house hiring events and assist with scheduling candidates during allotted times
• Utilize Interview Guides to assist with screening candidates for New Store Openings and critical need locations
• Provide a positive candidate experience by monitoring requisitions and following up with hiring managers to ensure they are moving candidates through the pipeline in a timely manner
• Build relationships with community partners, culinary schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations to source potential talent
• Participate in hiring events on college campuses and in store as needed
• Utilize hiring tools to source passive candidates who align with our brand and values

Administration: (15%)

• Update the Succession Planning tool on a weekly basis with new hires and terminations
• Monitor the onboarding process and ensure new hires are compliant in completing all necessary paperwork by their first day of employment
• Submit referral bonus information to Payroll as needed
• Respond to career/employment email inquiries in a timely manner

Training/Education: (5%)

• Provide support to existing and new hiring managers on ATS navigation and utilization
• Troubleshoot & provide a high level of customer service to hiring managers regarding ATS navigation and onboarding needs

Required Skills, Competencies & Experience:

• 1-2+ years experience in a recruiting/talent acquisition/sourcing role within the food & beverage and/or hospitality industries (in house recruitment preferred)
• Prior experience working in restaurants a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for helping others and great customer service
• Exhibits a positive and supportive attitude towards peers and hiring managers
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple recruiting projects at the same time
• Highly detail oriented and organized with a keen sense of follow through
