The Opportunity

As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products Portfolio, we have five major manufacturing departments at Western Port which operate 24 x 7 and deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to export and domestic customers.

With us, a career in Human Resources is both varied and professionally challenging. Working directly with the People Team you will quickly establish yourself as the go-to person for all things recruitment, training, and a range of generalists HR tasks. Being provided with on-going training and development, you’ll be required to assist and coordinate a wide range of people related activities, as you develop and progress your career to provide the business teams with generalist HR advice to effectively manage all people matters. No two days will be the same, you will get hands-on frontline HR experience within a friendly and supportive operational HR team.

What Will You Do?

Working closely with your business stakeholders and our operational HR team, you will:

• assist your team with HR related support activities such as recruitment, onboarding, training, learning and development and compensation
• support the business with key HR metrics and provide analytical insight and process improvement on reporting practices
• provide practical HR guidance on the full lifecycle of HR activities and people matters
• have the opportunity to be involved in project initiatives that will enhance our employee capability and experience
