The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our finance team as a Finance Graduate. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a recent graduate, you will provide financial analysis and support to BlueScope Distribution. We will provide you with ongoing learning opportunities and exposure across the business, working closely with our stakeholders, delivering best-practice process, procedure, systems and governance to the finance function.

What Will You Do?

Based in Port Kembla, you will have exposure to BlueScope Distribution as a whole and learn how the business runs nationally. Through this exposure you will:

• assist in planning, coordinating and delivery of timely and accurate financial reports
• develop strong relationships internally and externally to the finance team
• ensure the business and customer finance needs are effectively identified and appropriate solutions delivered through a customer focused approach
• have the opportunity to take part in project work

More About You

With your previous exposure in a similar finance role, along with your passion for learning, you will bring:

• a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or finance
• belief in a safe work culture with a desire to improve business standards
• proficiency in MS Office suite
• flexibility and adaptability to changes in business reporting requirements
• an ability to work cohesively with cross-functional departments
