The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Commercial and Performance Reporting team as a Finance Analyst. Partner with our Information Technology Group and provide guidance in the delivery of accounting services, financial governance and reporting.

Information Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation that will continue to support our business and customers now, and for the future. Key to their success, will be your ability to build strong partnering relationships and consistently deliver on monthly forecasting, budgeting and accounting processes.

This role could be based in Mt Waverley, VIC or Port Kembla, NSW.

What Will You Do?

You will use your financial expertise to support our various IT functions and business units through:

• providing cost analysis, KPI reporting and project evaluation
• facilitating and contributing to business planning and cost forecasting
• ensuring our finance systems and processes support our business operations

More About You

With your ability to influence, coach, engage and communicate meaningfully with our people and leaders, you will:

• be adept at planning and forecasting and able to support the business through sound financial analysis
• hold a Degree qualification in a finance related field (commerce, finance or accounting)
• hold or be working toward a CA or CPA qualification
