Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our National Customer Service Team based in Gillman, SA as a Customer Service Representative. Orrcon Steel a leading Australian steel distributor and manufacturer of steel tube and pipe with nationally recognised brands.

The Opportunity

Join our supportive, customer-focused team renowned for providing consistently high levels of customer service. You’ll interact with our national distribution business customers and support our local branches, delivering a premium service to our customers and helping our business to increase sales and develop ongoing relationships now and into the future.

• 12-month fixed term, Monday to Friday role
• 38-hour week within trading hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm
• Ideal for enthusiastic team players with a passion for customer service

What Will You Do?

As a key contact for sales and service enquiries you will:

• prepare and follow up on customer quotes
• managing sales enquiries via email and phone; including both inbound & outbound calls
• identify opportunities with our customers to provide value-add services
• reach out to new or existing customers to identify potential opportunities to generate further sales growth
• support our external sales teams and branches across Australia
• provide internal support and regular feedback to relevant sales teams regarding customer and competitor information
• resolve issues and seek ways to improve the customer experience

• experience working in a customer service environment
• high attention to detail with a natural curiosity to resolve discrepancies
• excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate mutually satisfying outcomes
• confidence in your computer skills and your ability to learn new systems
• a willingness to grow, learn and develop yourself
