ABOUT THE ROLE

In the Platform & Solution Engineering Team we work to bring that idea to life by applying cutting edge technologies and state of the art engineering practices creating unique solutions that our customers need. You, as a Full Stack Developer, will contribute to achieving this goal by bringing your pursuit of excellence and passion for engineering to the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for full-stack feature development

Responsible for Frontend, Backend and Cloud Services Development

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs that drive end-to-end solutions

Develop and take ownership over secure, maintainable and scalable backend services

Learn novel technologies and stacks as they are introduced at Bluescape

Collaborate effectively with the Platform & Solution Engineering team members

Collaborate effectively with the Design and Product teams and understand user requirements

Be aware of trends in the software industry and identify technologies that are applicable

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3-5 years of experience

Software engineering background with a drive to solve complex problems

Experience with building and consuming REST APIs

Experience with React, Redux and CSS

Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js and DBMS

Solid understanding of OAuth and OpenID

Familiarity with modern cloud deployment environments

Familiarity with product development lifecycle

Must be a Team Player

Must be a fast learner

Must be a self-starter

Must be highly resourceful and proactive in seeking out information and crafting needed solutions

Must be able to work with ambiguous requirements

Excellent communication skills

Experience working in a high growth startup environment is a plus
