Software tester – 3 month contract outside IR35

Home based

Working as part of the development team, delivering features to existing finance applications both web based and windows based, you will carry out testing activities including analysis, design and execution of test plan.

You will be required to collaborate with the Development Team and with the Team Leader in order to ensure that the delivery of each project meet the needs of the requirement.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

· 3+ Years’ experience within software testing

· Knowledge and experience of manual testing.

· Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry would be advantageous

Responsibilities

· Collaborate within a team of developers in order to meet project goals

· Ensure output of work is to a high standard, fully compliant within the industry regulations, delivered within an acceptable time frame

· Creation of manual test plans and schedules

· Execution of manual test plans and schedules

· Liaise and organize User Acceptance Testing with Project Sponsors

· Provide guidance, where appropriate, to colleagues where test advice and trouble‐shooting assistance is required.

· Consider product safety and other risks when deciding on test coverage and test case design. Ensure that any risk related concerns are reported to the Team Leader
