There is a new opportunity for a Utilities Technical Design Lead to work on a high profile civil design project. Long term work available on a daily rate contract basis, 6 months+ inside IR35.

Project is based across the Midlands and North England, however the candidate location can be flexible.

Within the role you will be responsible for managing technical aspects of Utilities delivery components; quality and timeframe objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

You will be expected to work alongside wider utilities team and project leadership as well as understand multi-disciplinary delivery whilst interfacing with main works delivery teams

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience leading similar engineering functions.
• Able to lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.
• Understand and comply with the Code of Conduct operated by professional institution.
• Working in a techncial lead or overseeing role and /or managing and guiding staff.
