Talent Acquisition Specialist

Pay range : $65-80k DOE

This position is located in Syracuse, NY.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the setting and implementation of staffing recruitment strategies at Bluefors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves as HR point of contact for recruitment and staff growth initiatives
• Consults with hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process (posting jobs, sourcing, screening, and the selection of candidates).
• Coordinates all candidate communications updates on the interview and hiring process
• Provides social media and advertising content to marketing agency
• Maintains company’s applicant tracking system including requisitions, candidate information, flow logs and ing to ensure compliance with applicable Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
• Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields
• Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other community networking and outreach opportunities
• Supports HR priorities and events while acting as a backup to HR administrative duties as assigned
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology or related field required
• Minimum of 3 years of human resource or related experience required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding and experience of EEOC, ADA, FLSA, etc.
• Knowledge and excellent experience with Microsoft (Excel, Teams, Office, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems
