We started in 2014 with just 4 Mortgage Brokers and a tiny office. Today we have expanded into a 10,000 square foot office, and on track to expand to 100 employees over the next few years. We do more than just mortgages; since conception we launched Real Estate, Wealth Management, Quick Loans, and Insurance divisions. The Mortgage Associate works alongside the Senior Mortgage Brokers to gain experience. Once the associate is fully trained, they then make the transition to a full-fledged broker and are set up to succeed as they grow their own team of associates around them. This position starts with a salary wage, plus commission on all deals!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Building relationships while remaining professional when dealing with clients and co-workers
Being comfortable making calls to potential clients
Identifying the mortgage options that are available to clients
Understanding and adapting to changes in mortgage options and following up with clients
Assisting clients with their needs such as debt consolidation, home renovations, mortgage renewals, etc.
Providing transparent financial advice to clients
Ensuring any inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
Engaging clients to discover their needs and creating unique solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

Sub-Mortgage Broker license is an asset
Must be willing to work towards Sub-Mortgage Broker license
Previous sales experience is an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable and motivated to work in a sales-driven environment
Strong attention to detail
Flexible, adaptable and keen ability to work with minimal supervision

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
