Blue Arrow Hiring for HR Business Partner at Edinburgh Full Time

Blue Arrow are proud to be supporting the NHS in recruiting an HR Business Partner on a contract basis, until the end of September 2022 with possibility of extension. Initially this role will be remote based, transitioning to a hybrid working model as restrictions ease in the coming months.

You will be a key member of the HR Trainee Services team, reporting to the Lead Business Partner and working closely with the other Business Partners to:

develop and maintain close partnering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of a consistent and improved employment experience for Doctors and Dentists in Training across NHS Scotland; the postholder has a key role in relationship management

develop HR expertise across the team and help to resolve complex policy and procedural matters

enable the smooth running and continuous improvement of processes which are high volume and to nationally agreed deadlines

previous involvement in working with senior stakeholders to deliver national/wide ranging services, preferably within the NHS

previous experience and robust knowledge of employment processes and employment law; knowledge of NHS terms and conditions for medical and dental staff would be an advantage

the ability to utilise digital technologies to deliver solutions; knowledge of taking an agile approach to delivering objectives would be beneficial

an ability to analyse data, interpret statistics and write reports, and to use data to inform management decisions

comfortable working and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment

experience of line management and supervision
