blu-3 UK Ltd Looking for Site Engineer – Nights at London, United Kingdom Full Time

Due to continued growth we’re now looking for site engineer to join our team, based on a large and complex civil engineering project in Slough. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience of heavy civils schemes and will have some demonstrable experience of working as part of an integrated delivery team whilst working in an engineering role. The role will be part office and part field based giving a great opportunity to develop your skills. 

Some of your daily activities 

• Setting out

• Creation of and support in the creation of ITP’s, check sheets and RAMS 

• Managing parts of construction projects

• Overseeing building work and undertaking site surveys

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff

• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site

• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork

• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials

• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to

• Developing CAD/ design drawings for the clients and asset owners

Skills or experience you will need to succeed in this role

• Engineering related degree or equivalent 

• CSCS card

• Commercial and programme awareness 

• Good team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Excellent attention to detail

• Problem solving

• Management skills

• Punctual

• Seeks continues improvement

Please note for this role will be working nights Tuesday- Saturday, for the duration of this project the role holder will be eligible to a 25% uplift on base salary. Upon completion of the project the role will revert back to days.
