Wages range between $17 and $19 per hour to start.

• $2.00 per hour shift premium for night shift.
• Medical, dental, vision coverage and life insurance after 3 month probationary period.
• Company paid pension plan (5% contributions at NO cost to the employee) after 1 year of service.

Responsibilities: Job summary: The refiner operator is responsible for refining paste batches into liquid chocolate/compound.

Position duties: *

• Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order, report any defective materials missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor.
• Set refiner rolls to properly grind paste to proper consistency and fineness based on fineness identified on batch system.
• Coordinate with batchmaker to ensure proper consistency of past mix coming into refiner from paste area.
• Daily perform any assigned record keeping including waste generation in proper system.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Fork lift/truck experience is an asset.
• Understanding of computer equipment (ex. iPad, Microsoft)

Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs, ladders
• Regularly required to bend, stoop, reach to clean areas.
• Daily exposure to noise, dust and a variation in temperature (hot/cold).
• Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• 24/7 manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be required to work rotating 12 hour shifts. This means approximately 14 shifts per month.
