BLOEM Hiring for Senior Financial Analyst Job at Hudsonville, MI Full Time

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and in-depth analysis to enhance the decision-making capabilities of Bloem leadership, including department managers and executive leadership. This individual will perform regular and ad hoc analysis using pertinent financial concepts to support various business functions and will be responsible for collaborating with key managers to develop metrics for measuring performance.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in key Finance Department processes including annual budget, quarterly forecast, monthly accounting close, and establishment of costing rates and standard product cost. Further, they will assist with investment analysis of new business opportunities and proposed capital expenditures.

• MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initiate and complete complex financial analysis 50%

Collaborate with key managers to develop performance metrics and analyze variances to target 20%

Participate in annual budget and quarterly forecast 20%

Directly respond to ad hoc questions and issues from other departments 10%

Department Managers

This position will collaborate with department managers to develop inputs (sales, margins, COGS, etc) for the annual budget and quarterly forecast. They will also collaborate with department managers to develop metrics for measuring performance.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelors degree in accounting.

Experience

5+ years experience in a financial analyst role

Experience working for a manufacturing company.

Development of standard costing rates

Analysis of variances to standard product cost
