ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will have ownership over all aspects of the recruitment cycle – from enhancing our internal recruitment strategies, to building and managing relationships with hiring managers, to sourcing and filling all open roles and achieving headcount targets. You have a passion for building relationships and communities. You don’t think of your job as just closing roles, but continuously finding great humans who are passionate about Blockworks and aligned with our core values.
We want to find the best person for the role regardless of where you are located. This role is open for candidates who are working remotely within the US as well as candidates who prefer to work from our New York City office.
AS A TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER YOU WILL:
Own full-cycle recruiting for candidates across a range of functions and levels, including role scoping, sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, soliciting feedback, managing candidates, and handling offers
Maintain an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the process while keeping Blockworks’ values and brand top of mind
Partner with hiring managers to understand and deliver talent needs while keeping all stakeholders apprised along the journey.
Develop and maintain all recruiting metrics; use as a measurement for quality of hire, and leverage data and metrics to conduct analysis on talent markets and the effectiveness of different strategies.

Partner with external recruiting agencies to support specific roles
Work Director of People to assess needs of function for scale including build out of new processes and policies, as well as technology needed to support
Level up our candidate assessment approach to minimize unconscious bias and to maximize fit with needed skills and experience, including ongoing development and deployment of educational curriculum with a goal of elevating Hiring Manager’s capabilities in evaluating talent.
Establish new sourcing strategies to engage with a diverse pool of qualified candidates to further Blockworks’ diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Support Blockworks’ values-driven culture by providing insight and perspective into multiple stages of the employee life-cycle including: onboarding, D&I, and employee engagement, as well as taking on other ad-hoc duties as responsibilities from time to time and based on business needs.
YOU WILL HAVE :
4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a start-up environment
Knowledge of the ins and outs of recruiting and sourcing tools; understanding of modern applicant tracking systems. We use Ashby!
Previous implementation of a structured interview process
Passion and interest in crypto/web3. Extra points if you’ve worked at a crypto or web3 company in the past!
You are innovative in your sourcing/recruiting approach, preferring to experiment with new and unexpected tactics, rather than stick to traditional best practices.
You have the ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and leadership across departments and levels
You have a passion for “relationship building” recruiting. Candidates who have worked with you know that you are friendly, responsive and respect your iron-clad integrity.
