BLH Technologies, Inc Hiring for Public Health Specialist at Rockville, MD Full Time

BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, communications, and technology solutions for Federal and commercial clients, is seeking a Public Health Specialist (PHS) to support Federal clients, including those within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The PHS will be responsible for contributing to s, manuscripts, and presentations; data management and analysis tasks; and assisting with meetings and communications tasks.

Duties

• Provide project management support, including developing timelines, organizing meetings, developing meeting summaries, facilitating communication among project members, etc.
• Develop s, manuscripts, presentations, and other publications.
• Develop dissemination and communication products for various audiences.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist with other research projects as requested.
• Conduct statistical analyses, interpret findings, and present results in figures and tables.
• Coordinate scientific meetings and liaise with staff from Federal agencies and other organizations.
• Assist with strategic, communications, and project planning.
• Ensure quality control and protection of Federal data and communication products.
• Assist in the company’s corporate marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting public health or similar projects.
• Experience managing small projects or teams preferred.
• Government contract experience preferred.

Knowledge And Special Skills

• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal).
• Experience with substance use research is desirable.
• Ability to work well independently as well as with team members and clients.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
