The Role

Senior Control Systems Engineer designs, details and programs the electrical power and control system for blast and coating systems, as well as all associated subsystems. Systems will consist primarily of existing BlastOne’s products integrated with third-party and customer provided components to create a complete solution. Electrical & control schematics and panel layout drawings will be created in AutoCAD. PLC and HMI programming is based on Schneider Electric automation platform.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• BSEE from an ABET accredited university.
• PE License preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing electrical and control systems for industrial equipment and systems.
• Minimum 8 years of PLC and HMI programming experience. Schneider preferred.

• Understanding of industrial plant operations and maintenance to help ensure systems can be efficiently installed and maintained in existing facilities a definite plus.
• Understand the requirements of NEC for 480VAC power distribution design.
• Understand the requirements of OSHA and NFPA for machine safety and hazardous areas.
