Role Description

As a Technical Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to assist customers with faucet and fixture warranty claims, product installation and troubleshooting. You will provide high quality, timely, courteous technical support to internal and external stakeholders (including but not limited to employees, customers, consumers, installers, field service technicians) and provide effective resolution of warranty inquiries in compliance with company policies.

This is a full-time, remote role, candidates should reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. Internal Title for this role is Technical Service Representative.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively provide product technical information (specifications, documentation, drawings) to customers, consumers, designers, installers to support the pre-sale process.
• Provide technical support for installation and troubleshooting
• Help increase consumer satisfaction with BLANCO product by providing effective cleaning and maintenance instructions
• Helping with selection of the most suitable consumables
• Resolution and processing of warranty claims per company policies, including arrangement of product inspections by sales agents as necessary
• Processing consumer orders for repair parts, cleaning materials and consumables
• Handling technical inquires made in person, by phone, via e-mail or webforms
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for the department and company
• Other Technical Service duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

• Technical education and/or 1 to 3 years relevant technical experience
• Knowledge of kitchen water, waste, organization systems and installation practices is a plus but not required.
• Professional and courteous communication skills
• Strong listening skills and ability to de-escalate situations with upset customers
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and detailed correspondence
• Ability to understand, diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Willingness to work in a team environment and share knowledge
• Exceptional English communication skills a must, oral and written
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Technical proficiency: ability to navigate and manage multiple computer windows and software systems
• Experience with ERP Systems, SAP an asset
