Your role:

As our Blacklock Recruitment Partner, you would be responsible for attracting and hiring all external talent into management and hourly paid roles across the company. Sourcing and inspiring like minded Blacklockers, who share our passion for people and hospitality. Ensuring that all applicants, regardless of being successful or not, leave happy, having experienced a dynamic, fair and fun process.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell:

• To work with the Operations and People team to define and manage a dynamic recruitment strategy which delivers the talent needs across all our current and future restaurants
• To ensure the appropriate systems processes and tools exist within recruitment in order to satisfy the overall recruitment needs
• To define appropriate and creative recruitment solutions for Blacklock and to monitor and evaluate their performance on a continuous basis
• To define, appoint and build alternative recruitment partnerships in line with our B-Corp aspiration such as youth unemployment, ex-offenders, homeless etc
• To continuously seek to build our Employee Value Proposition in order to attract and select talent at all levels of Blacklock (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, website, etc) via direct resourcing model
• Provide regular recruitment reporting, analysis and insights for the leadership and to make recommendations for improvement and continuous development on all aspects of recruitment and attraction
• To deliver great recruitment training across the company that upskills all managers
• To deliver exceptional employee journey in line with our ethos and values
• To work in partnership with our People Manager to conduct exit interviews in order to help us best understand key areas for improvement
• Ensure all our attraction and recruitment processes and practices are in line with our Inclusion and Diversity policy and is inclusive of everyone
• To continuously build a pipeline of future recruits in order to ensure we maintain 100% headcount across management roles

Your experience and skills:

• Ideally you will have previous recruitment experience within the hospitality sector, having managed end to end recruitment processes, ATS systems and supported building Employee Value Proposition through social platforms
• Strong people skills with the ability to build quality relationships across teams and 3rd party suppliers
• You will have excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to think on your feet to find solutions fast.
• Ability to think outside the box and challenge status quo, be agile in this ever challenging current market
