Black Swift Group, LLC (“Black Swift”) is an SEC registered investment advisor and hedge fund located in Boulder, Colorado. Due to the growth in our client base, we have an opening for a member of the client service team. This essential team member will ensure the smooth and efficient servicing of existing and prospective new clients and will be responsible for on-boarding and maintaining client relationships. The client service team member will also collaborate with the investment management, operations, and compliance teams in the areas of product development and strategic planning.

This position supports the many different client service activities for Black Swift and is the key contact person for clients of the firm. This position will also coordinate other projects in marketing, product development, and strategic planning. This position is an associate role, and assists in the capabilities of how Black Swift interfaces with clients and investors in its private funds and setting the direction of Black Swift’s goal to grow into a global investment management firm. This position reports directly to the senior managing member of the Firm.

Responsibilities:

Client Service and Investor Relations 85% of time

• A point of contact for account related client communication and interactions.
• Prepare paperwork to open and close investment accounts.
• Liaison with operations involving money movements, beneficiary and address changes.
• Prepare and assist with the private funds’ subscriptions and distributions, as well and review all fund reporting on a monthly basis.
• Attend client meetings with the investment management team.
• Document communications with clients and keep client database and CRM system current and up to date.
• Assist advisors in servicing clients by gathering and analyzing client data, managing client deliverables and maintaining and ensuring accurate and complete documentation of client interaction and problem resolution.
• Become knowledgeable of the firm’s compliance procedures and policies and ensure all procedures are followed in relation to client interactions and accounts.
• Review client account information and work with the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring correct and updated data is collected.
• Due to the importance of absolute accuracy and timeliness of the service and outputs provided by this position, the candidate must have strong attention to detail, follow-through and be highly organized.

Product Development & Strategic Planning 10% of time

• Oversee the development and maintenance of investment marketing and client materials including presentations, product profiles, RFP responses, client reporting packages and quarterly performance commentary.
• Actively participate in sales and client service efforts, including completing investment-related client requests, and providing “behind-the-scenes” support.
• Work with the investment team to monitor and maintain performance composites.
• Assist team with efforts to build client base and to obtain additional assets.
• Work as project lead on client growth and retention activities.
• Assist the team with general marketing efforts of the firm, which may include the website, marketing materials, events, presentations, and newsletters.
• Implement, improve and manage the team processes and communication for cohesion, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Oversee the successful operation of the team including paper and electronic filing, monitoring advisor’s calendars, marketing, client growth and retention activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other business field, highly preferred.
• 2 or more years of related work experience in financial or client services, preferred.
• Licensing or ability to obtain licensing after hire
• Marketing experience, proficiency with Adobe PDF and CRM systems is a plus.
• A genuine desire to work with clients and build professional relationships.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Ability to adapt and be proactive under pressure and tight timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effective client relationships.
• Highly organized, detail and deadline oriented along with confidentiality are a must due to the significant importance of the client data being processed.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and manage time and projects effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
