Our growing Digital Marketing agency is currently looking for a Part-Time Web and Graphic Design, to help handle the day-to-day creative design, and branding for our clients. This position will also, most definitely lead to full-time with benefits and bonuses, for the right candidate. Must be willing to start ASAP.

Please note that this is a 100% remote position. We will, however, have monthly team meetings, lunches, and brunches at our virtual offices either in Oakville or in Downtown Toronto near the the Eaton Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have experience working within collaborative teams
• Must understand digital best practices. UX/UI

• Must have solid design and typographical skills

• Branding and application to marketing materials

• Design materials for web, including, but not limited to, website assets, social campaigns, landing pages, email campaigns

• Will be responsible for creating supporting marketing materials such as posters, ads, leave-behind pamphlets, illustrations, and infographics, etc

• Lead and contribute to brainstorming sessions, develop concepts/ideation for net-new and ongoing campaigns

• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software

• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects

• Communicate with other team members to ensure deadlines of projects are met

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends by conducting research and updating tools, watching tutorial videos, etc

• Must understand how to work within brand standard guidelines

• Present and approve final designs for review, and feedback

• Incorporate feedback from clients and key stakeholders on projects to finalize designs.

• QA, Review designs for errors

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Web Design or related field
• Duda.co is the main agency website design and development platform. Candidate must complete all Duda.co Certifications within the first 14-Days of start date (https://university.duda.co/)
• Must be familiar with video creation tools

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in design for web and print

• 2 to 5 years of working knowledge and understanding of UX strategy

• Advanced knowledge of design software: Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Sketch/Figma

• Prior knowledge working with prototyping tools and the ability to learn new tools quickly for UX (Invision, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Marvel, etc.)

• Must have excellent visual design skills and attention to detail

• Have exceptional organizational skills and multitasking capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

NICE TO HAVE BUT NO ESSENTIAL:

• Animation software knowledge and skills

HOURS AND COMPENSATOIN:

It is $20 to $25 per hour, and 12 to 20 hours per week to start. As we get busier and add more clients to our roster, the hours will increase and wages will increase through performance.
