Are you a site supervisor ready for your next freelance contract? Are you experienced in civil engineering and groundworks? Can you easily commute to Derby?

Black Book Resourcing are working with an established civils and groundworks contractor that are looking for a Site Supervisor to assist in the delivery of a new container storage project in Derby.  Works will include, earthworks, drainage, foundations, ducting and road modifications.

Reporting into the projects manager, you will be required to do the following: 

Site Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties

• supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress
• coordinating and supervising workforce, maintaining all works are to the correct quality and standards
• ensuring H&S is always adhered to
• maintaining quality control procedures
• finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• assessing and minimising risk

Site Supervisor – Requirements

• Site Supervisor with groundworks and earthworks exp.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Highly computer literate
• Strong character that can motivate and drive the work force
• High work ethic, a can-do attitude, able to go the extra mile when required
