Black Book Resourcing LTD, the civil engineering and groundworks specialist, are looking for an experienced site engineer to work for a civil engineering/groundworks sub-contractor working on projects for regional Tier 1 contractors. You will be working as roving engineer across various locations and you will be responsible for setting out groundworks and civils projects. You will be required to perform the following:

Site Engineer key responsibilities:

• Establish the level and survey control for contracts
• Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
• Quality Assurance
• Ensure that records are accurate
• Solve technical difficulties and assist with any problems that may arise

Site Engineer skills:

• Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering and groundworks projects
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
• Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments
• Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
• CSCS
• Experienced in AUTOCAD and MS Office
