Bite Hiring for Business Development Manager at Australia Full Time

About Bite:

We’re a rapidly growing, Hospitality-Tech Start-up.

We currently have over 500 venues using our revolutionary online ordering app and web ordering technology in AU/NZ. We have big plans to grow, and this means continued expansion in the AU Market and expansion into the NZ market!

We’re looking for an ambitious, experienced, outbound sales professional or BDM to join the team. Alongside our existing team, you will become an integral part of our domestic and international expansion with dedicated sales support to hone your craft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute outreach strategies via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to identify and engage potential customers. Customers will be Cafe owners, Restaurants, Bars, etc.
• The successful candidate will be required to travel (own car) in-field to cafes, bars, restaurants, and any other venues, in order to sell the Bite solution. We find conversion rates higher in person, so it will be an added bonus if you have face-to-face sales experience.
• Achieve monthly KPIs, as outlined by our Head of Sales.
• Maintain a detailed log of your outreach efforts and outcomes in our CRM system (Pipedrive).

Your onboarding will take part over 2 – weeks, and will include,

• Shadow our existing sales team, including the Head of Sales
• Learning the use of our sales CRM
• Understanding competitor landscape
• Understanding the industry as a whole
• Understand the USP of Bite

You will be part of a fast-growing team, expanding in multiple regions, and with plenty of growth opportunities.

What we need from you:

• Previous outbound sales experience (preferably 3+ years) OR
• Previous BDM experience, preferably within tech/hospitality space
• CRM experience (Pipedrive would be a bonus)
• Someone proactive and able to manage their time well – we don’t want to micromanage 
• Previous WFH experience 
• A genuine Superstar and someone who is obsessed with learning and wants to take their sales career to the next level.

As this will eventually be a territory-based role, the ideal candidate will be located either near Sydney or Melbourne.
