This position is full-time and in-house. Applicants must be able to work onsite with our team in our Fort Walton Beach, Florida office.

What will you do?
As a Bit-Wizards’ Software Engineer you will work with other engineers of the highest caliber to find perfect solutions for each client. Working in an environment that stimulates self-motivation and the drive to succeed is what every engineer at Bit-Wizards enjoys.

How you’ll make an impact:
If you can focus on the details of every task, and explore and master new technologies, you will fit in well at Bit-Wizards. Ideal candidates have or are seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical fields, knowledge of, or desire to learn coding .NET applications, and possess good communication skills, as well as strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work well in a team environment to assist and seek assistance from peers in order to complete projects efficiently.
• Design, develop, and launch highly-visible, feature rich applications.
• Support existing business applications for clients.
• Interface with network, hardware and system operations teams to resolve problems with application/database systems.
• Be a team player who takes ownership of projects and drives them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently.
• Have a passion to learn new technologies and master the same.

Position Requirements:

• Pursuing, or attained a BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical studies.
• Desire to learn, or experience with ASP.NET development, C# and JavaScript.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and proven ownership thinking/mentality.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple areas of responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A passion for Web and emerging technologies.

Bonus Skills:

• .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#
• Database design fundamentals
• Object oriented programming and design
• Other tools and development platforms that run on the Microsoft family of operating systems
