We’re looking for an Education Manager to lead the growth of the Trust’s education services and
development & delivery of programmes at our environmental centres.
Location: Based at EcoPark, 258a Hob Moor Road, Small Heath, B10 9HH with some time at Centre of the Earth, B18 7EP and occasional travelling to sites across Birmingham the Black Country as needed.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Wildlife Trust and help deliver our vision of a
Wilder Birmingham and Black Country. The Education Manager is a pivotal role in raising
awareness and understanding of wildlife issues, leading the Trust’s education programmes across
the region and the wider work of our two environmental centres, EcoPark and Centre of the
Earth. You will also be leading a team of key delivery staff across those sites.
Applicants must be able to evidence relevant experience in managing the delivery of
curriculum-linked education sessions for children. You will be able to demonstrate a track
record of managing multiple projects concurrently and of developing strong partnership working.
It is essential that you have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental
subject, or demonstrable relevant experience.
