Changing Waste is an industrial processor of waste located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, It is designed to handle a wide range of waste feedstocks. Through a variety of different processes that utilise the waste as a raw material to create a blend for anaerobic digestion, which in turn is used to generate electricity and gas that is 100% renewable and exported to the national grid.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a great team of people and make a difference within a supportive and values-led Organisation.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Overall administrative support to the Finance team within the group. To continue the growth of the business we require an experienced Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the accounting function across our sites.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Daily posting of purchase invoices across all companies
• Analysis of Creditors including management of Aged Creditors
• Issuing purchase order numbers
• Supplier Statement reconciliations
• Management of Aged Debtors
• Daily debt chasing
• Deal with customer issues relating to credit notes and payments
• General ledger work including GL account reconciliations
• Raise cross charges
• General office tasks – filing etc.
• Perform other such duties of a similar nature as from time to time may be required including any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Part time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9,500.00-£11,500.00 per year
