BioMar’s Australian business unit in Tasmania has a unique opportunity for a HR Business partner to join their team. The role can be Full-time or 0.8 FTE will be based at Wesley Vale. The role supports all levels of the organisation by delivering exceptional HR services and advice.
About the position
BioMar has a strong culture and operates as multiple high-performance teams to deliver outstanding service and products to is customers throughout Australia and New Zealand. This role will provide HR support and advice across all areas of the organisation and the employee lifecycle. In addition, this role is responsible for the coordination of onsite safety initiatives. Core areas of responsibility include:
- Training and Development – planning and implementation
- Health and Well-being – including safety
- Workforce Planning
- Legislative compliance – compliance with all local and federal IR legislation
- HR Budgeting
- General administration
- Performance management
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Safety and environmental compliance
Successful Candidate
We are searching for a HR generalist who has significant experience (5+ years) in HR business partnering or HR management roles. Ideally you will have experience in manufacturing HR and demonstrated record of:
- Supporting and guiding managers across all HR facets
- Excellent IT skills and experience with HRIS (ideally Workday)
- Strong knowledge of ER/IR legislation
- Flexible approach to problem solving and leading projects
On offer
This role is a 14-month fixed term contract ending in January 2023 (Leave Cover). Salary will be between $90k-$100k pro rata depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Some international Travel may be required.
