bioLytical Hiring for Quality Control Inspector (Contract) at Richmond, BC Full Time

bioLytical is growing and we are currently looking for Quality Control Inspectors to fill a rotation of shifts that coincide with operations, at our facility in Richmond. Reporting to the QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components and finished goods and ensure they meet quality standards and production timelines.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: *

• Perform incoming raw material and finished goods inspection activities
• Perform INSTI component release testing activities
• Complete QC testing records and update associated tracking logs
• Maintain QC sample inventory and retention

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline and/or relevant work experience in the medical device manufacturing industry
• Minimum of two years experience in GMP manufacturing
• Knowledge of working under ISO 13485 an asset
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
• Experience using basic laboratory equipment (balances, calipers)
• Basic reagent preparation experience
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong time-management skills, including ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Access, Excel)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
