Working closely with Corporate Affairs as well as the US organization, this individual will be responsible for leading proactive external engagement with key patient advocacy groups (PAGs) and rare disease umbrella groups. The candidate will deepen relationships with priority external stakeholders and drive Biogen’s position in the FA space.
The Associate Director, U.S. Patient Advocacy will be an integral member of the U.S. cross functional Rare Disease team providing strategic counsel and executing on patient advocacy engagement plans. They will continue to build and position Biogen as a partner of choice with the community through active engagement at community events, medical congresses, patient conferences, etc.
As a member of the Core Global Patient Advocacy and External Communications Team, this role will work cross-functionally with colleagues in global, international and in the Biogen affiliates.
